Ostatnio w ręce wpadła mi najnowsza nawigacja wydana przez firmę TomTom z modelem z najwyższej półki sygnowanym numerem 920. Urządzenie od samego początku demonstrowało swoją klasę, jak przystało na sprzęt za prawie 2.000 zł.
Pierwsze wrażenia
Eleganckie pudełko, solidnie zapakowana nawigacja, mnóstwo akcesoriów, m.in. pilot zdalnego sterowania w technologii Bluetooth. Po wyciągnięciu z pudełka możemy mówić o elegancji i wydaniu pierwszej klasy. Bardzo schludnie i estetycznie wykonana obudowa mówi, iż mamy przed sobą profesjonalną nawigację GPS.
Urządzenie w dolnej części obudowy posiada m.in. wejście miniUSB, Jack, przycisk reset. Rzut z góry pokazuje logo firmowe TomTom oraz przycisk włącznika.
Duży 4,3” wyświetlacz sugeruje, iż czytelność będzie doskonała.
Menu
Czyste i przejrzyste ikony, duża czcionka pozwala na dobrą czytelność nawet w znacznym oddaleniu urządzenia od kierowcy. Operowanie w menu jest bardzo łatwe, nawet mimo tego, iż urządzenie naszpikowane jest wieloma dodatkowymi funkcjami.
Instalacja w samochodzie
przebiega szybko. Uchwyt, który producent dostarczył nam w zestawie jest bardzo prosty. Jedno ramię z obrotową główką. Regulacja jest bardzo szybka i nieskomplikowana. Przyssawka przeklejana jest do szyby z małym wysiłkiem, ale nie ma dźwigni, która zasysała by ramię do szyby. To jest pierwszy (i najprawdopodobniej ostatni) minus. Wszyscy znamy nasze polskie drogi… wystarczy by trochę potrzęsło nami, a nawigacja po prostu się odkleja od szyby!
Po ekspresowej instalacji wyruszamy w drogę.
Na trasie
Producent dołożył wielu starań by wyposażyć to cudowne urządzenie w mapy pokrywające wiele krajów. Poza krajami Europy odnajdziemy mapy takich krajów jak: USA i Kanada.
O jakości map TomTom nie trzeba wiele wspominać. Bardzo dobre pokrycie drogowe, jak i adresowe sprawi, iż nasza jazda jest relaksująca i bezstresowa. Duży czytelny ekran bardzo dobrze pokazuję drogę po której w najbliższych momentach będziemy jechali.
Nawigacja została wyposażona w systemy takie jak: TMC – informowanie o zatorach na drogach (w Polsce zapowiadane jest wprowadzenie na rok 2008).
System Enhanced Positioning to wbudowany sensor ruchu, który jest w stanie określić położenie samochodu nawet w takich momentach, kiedy nie mamy kontaktu z satelitą. Utrata sygnału może nastąpić w momencie wjazdu do tunelu lub przejazd przez centrum z bardzo wysokimi budynkami. Zaraz po minięciu tego fragmentu drogi system odzyskuje sygnał GPS i nawiguje nas z wykorzystaniem satelitów.
Dodatki
Kupując TomTom Go 920 w kartoniku możemy znaleźć wiele dodatków:
– ładowarka samochodowa,
– podstawka na kokpit,
– uchwyt do szyby,
– stacja dokująca ,
– pilot na łącze Bluetooth,
– płyta CD oraz instrukcja.
Ciekawym rozwiązaniem jest wspomniany pilot, a tym bardziej z łączem Bluetooth. Dzięki niemu możemy operować nawigacją bez dotykania ekranu.
Nawigacja fabrycznie jest wyposażona w 4GB pamięci wewnętrznej. To bardzo dużo. Więc znajdzie się miejsce na pliki mp3, bądź film.
Przydatnym i bardzo wygodną opcją jest możliwość połączenia telefonu komórkowego z łączem Bluetooth z TT 920. Głos podczas rozmowy jest bardzo wyraźny, a ręce możemy trzymać cały czas na kierownicy. System działa w dwie strony. Możemy odbierać rozmowy przy pomocy nawigacji, ale również możemy je wykonywać poprzez wybór kontaktu z uprzednio wcześniej skopiowanej książki adresowej z naszego telefonu.
Technologią, o której nie wspomniałem jest TomTom Map Share. Umożliwia nanoszenie zmian na mapy, a następnie możemy dzielić się swoimi uwagami i spostrzeżeniami z pozostałymi osobami przez Internet.
Posumowanie
Plusy:
– bardzo dobre wykonanie
– duża ilość pamięci wewnętrznej
– wiele dodatków ( ach ten pilot ;) )
– bardzo dokładne mapy + TomTom Map Share
Minusy:
– cena, ale jest sprzęt jest warty tych pieniędzy!
Bardzo dobre urządzenie, jednak szkoda że cena jest taka wysoka.
Wygląda dosyć ciekawie. Ciekawe jaki moduł GPS w nim zastosowano.
A co do dokładności – polecam Roumte66 ;)
PDAlab.pl, to fakt, że urządzenie nie należy do najtańszych, ale płacimy za jakość wykonania oraz całą technologię, która jest w to włożona.
Ceny zapczynają się od 1600 zł z groszem ;)
